A NOTE TO MY FELLOW ARTISTS AND GRAMMY VOTERS

I believe the Grammys give artists a rare opportunity—not only to discover and celebrate the work of other artists, but also to pause and reflect on the work we have created and the journey that brought us here.

It is a moment when we can share openly and proudly what we have been working on, where we are in our creative lives, and how far we have come.

I believe that is one of the most beautiful things about being an artist. No matter what stage of your journey you are in, you are still an artist. Your work is valid. Your voice is valid. And every chapter of your creative life deserves to be seen and celebrated.

An award ceremony that gives artists the opportunity to honor one another’s art is, to me, something deeply meaningful. There is a sense of reverence in recognizing the dedication, vulnerability, imagination, and years of work that exist behind every piece of music.

I am deeply honored to be a Grammy voter, and it is my pleasure to share my latest work with you.

I hope you enjoy it. I hope it inspires you. I hope it lifts you.

The greatest joy I had in creating this album was the feeling that I had entered another world. It felt romantic, cinematic, and almost otherworldly—as though I were living inside a movie in my own mind.

That is the feeling I hope to share with you.

Thank you so very much for listening, and for taking the time to experience my music.

With gratitude,

Amun Starr
